Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 19, 2026
This policy explains what information Social Engine ("we," "us") collects when you visit this website or use the Social Engine service, and what we do with it. We keep it in plain language on purpose.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you book a demo or contact us, we collect what you submit: typically your name, email, phone number, company, and anything you write in a message field.
- Service data. If you become a client, we store the material needed to run your account: brand voice details, business rules, promotions, customer reviews you provide, content drafts, approvals and feedback, and engagement metrics returned by the social platforms you connect.
- Usage data. Like most websites, we receive standard technical information such as browser type, device, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP address.
How we use it
- To respond to demo requests and operate the service you've engaged us for.
- To improve content performance for your account. Engagement data is used to inform your own brand's future content.
- To improve this website and our service generally.
- To communicate with you about your account, with your consent where required.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use one client's private brand material to create content for another client.
- We do not contact your customers or, for agency partners, your clients.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to operate the product (such as hosting, scheduling and publishing infrastructure, and analytics), under agreements that restrict how they may use it, or when required by law.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. To exercise them, contact us and we'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
